What is InteliCare Home?
Families of people with a disability understandably have concerns about how long a loved one can remain safely independent at home, and in most cases, the individual has concerns as well.
Many people would prefer to remain in the familiar surroundings of their own homes and the subject of a transfer into a care facility can be a source of angst and financial concern for the whole family.
Share your wellbeing
InteliCare Home enables people with a disability to share their wellbeing information with their families and caregivers. This then allows people to “check-in” on their wellbeing via an easy-to-use app.
This non-intrusive way of helping a person gather and share their health and wellbeing information leads to more confident, independent living with peace of mind for families and carers.
InteliCare Home creates a personalised profile of each individual and once installed, begins to learn their daily routine. This allows for early detection of deviations in the person’s routine that could indicate a health issue.
What if something happens?
It’s natural to worry about an accident or emergency, but by sharing information with their family or care team, people with a disability will be comforted knowing that someone that cares about them will be alerted if there is a problem.
InteliCare Home works 24/7 to receive information from the person and alert their care team to possible risks. This means, no matter the time, night or day, they will be able to share their information and InteliCare will contact their care team for them.
If there is a risk detected, the family or carer will receive a notification on their smartphone. This allows them to act quickly to provide support to the individual.
Unlike personal duress pendants and wearable alarms, InteliCare Home doesn’t require an alarm to be worn at all times or to be activated by the person in duress.
What does the individual need to do?
Once InteliCare Home is added to the person’s home, it will immediately start receiving information and create a personalised profile of the individual.
There are no ongoing set up processes, it’s all done automatically by InteliCare Home.
People can choose who they want to share their wellbeing information with and those people, we call them the “care team”, will start receiving daily notifications that everything is ok and alerts if there is a risk.

How InteliCare Home Works
The InteliCare Home is a package of smart home sensors that are added to a person’s home. The non-invasive activity sensors gather information shared by the person and InteliCare Home creates a personal profile of the individual’s routine.
Once the routine is built, InteliCare Home will automatically detect any unusual deviations in the routine and shares this with the person’s family or carer. The realtime sharing of wellbeing information allows people to take presentation action to support the individual.
How to view the information
A person’s wellbeing information is available family or carers in the InteliCare app. The app provides enough detail for families and carers to assess risk levels and make decisions on if action needs to be taken.
You can access real-time data via the InteliCare app to view recent activity including:
- Meal preparation
- Getting out of bed
- Household activity
- Leaving the home
- Home temperatures
- Social activity
When an unusual deviation from the person’s routine is detected, you will receive an app notification and, if it’s more critical, an SMS message.
InteliCare Home is designed to be installed quickly and easily in any home with no modifications or electrical works required.
