Last week, InteliCare’s CEO and Managing Director, Jason Waller joined MySecTv to discuss the recently awarded $100,000 grant by the NSW State Government in conjunction with the University of Sydney and Macquarie University.

The grant will help improve InteliCare’s machine learning predictive technology to assist with healthcare management of chronic deterioration in the elderly, marking a shift in being able to predict events rather than just detect events.

Aged care in Australia currently faces a range of complex issues as highlighted by the recent Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. InteliCare aims to help relieve the burden faced by aged care facilities and hospitals nationally by capturing problems further up stream before they occur, using data to reduce risk.
